Eldorado Gold, Mavres Petres Underground Delineation, Greece

Three (3) underground drilling rigs capable of executing both upward and downward boreholes were mobilized. The projects aimed to delineate new resources as well as to provide infill information for known reserves. More than 100 boreholes were collectively drilling increasing significantly the geological understanding of the Client’s geological department.

Project Challenge

It has been a strong challenging project requiring drilling in any possible direction and often through bad geological conditions in an active mine.

RESULTS

Several orebody lenses were either newly drilled or found as extension to existing lenses. The combined results provided 2-3 years of mining material to the Mavres Petres mine.
